ok so i fell off with taking care of my hair and unfortunately its really starting to show. with my busy schedule i havent been making time to moisturize and seal my hair contionously..i actually only do it once a week on wash day Ouch - i wear my hair slicked in a bun because im not where i'd like to be with my length so im never really concenered about it being moisturized Ouch

Im finding my hair is poofy .. im not seeing much of my curls unless i brush it out with a denman, and their lifeless curls. i know it tok about 6 months to recover my hair previously, so im willing again, but i want to know  of a great deep conditioner that you find curl popping. I know not everything works for everyone

Ive use aubrey organics gpb which was great with bringing back the protein and elasticity to my hair, and i used to love giovanni deep condish, but it doesn't work as great anymore.

Please, any suggestions?Smile

thanks for the advice ladies.
Benni, im actually gonna try more diy's. I think my hair feels better with natural products, and i loved putting a mix of coconut milk and honey with aloe in my conditioners. :)

When I use molasses in deep conditioners my curls pop. For moisture I like adding aloe vera juice and honey. You could just deep condition with your favorite moisturizing conditioner instead of using a deep conditioner.

Wonderful . DIY is what I like also. If I do buy a Condish, I tend modify it with Oils, Honey and Mayo.

Hope it all works out soon for you.

My favorite deep condish is Shea Moisture Yucca and Baobab Anti-Breakage Masque. I love the consistency. It's thick, but somehow, it feels light to the touch. And it just melts right into my hair. My hair loves this stuff. I put a plastic bag on my head and let it sit for more than an hour. The results are great. =D

My new favorite at the moment is the NuNaat Karite Deep conditioner that comes in a jar.  I know that you are in Canada but if you make it stateside, checkout Walgreens (go online to see which Walgreens have it in their stores first) because they have it on sale for $2.99.

This happened to me. Every braid out I did resulted in a big frizz ball. I switched up my products and went back to the basics before the frizzballs. I use Aubrey Organic Honey Suckle Rose for a deep conditioner & Giovanni Direct Leave In for my leave in I also switched to Sealing with Castor oil and my hair is never Frizzy anymore.
