her blond hair and skin bleaching are evidence of her self hate. not surprised. does she even date black men?

did anyone else know that after Tina, Ike went on to win several more Grammys for his work? i was surprised. i thought he slipped into oblivion.

tbh even though I am african, i'm not really mad at the statements that she made. I hope all the best for her and hope one day she grows mentality and spiritually.

Tina said I wouldn't do a black role if my life depended on it. He said he understood though because she had been abused. (he said it much more crassly than that though).

I didn't know Phyllis Hyman also tried out for that role in CPurple.

I know he was on a John Lee Hooker cd that won a grammy. He was hell on the keys as well as guitar. I don't like him tho. It made me mad that I loved the JLH song he was on.

LOL It makes me think of my grandma cuz Lord knows she's said some equally ignorant things and God knows she ain't moving at this point in her life

Which is probably why I still sympathize for Tina. It saddens me that she thinks this way about her own people but I have not live her life
