^That thick girl in the blue looks fine. I know plenty of skinny women with broad shoulders, so meh.

And OP, if you have marks on your body, use some makeup to cover them up. Face and body makeup would help a lot.

I understand not wanting to wear a dress that shows too much as I have strech marks and makeup just doesn't cover mine. I highly recommend igigi.com that that was posted above.

Not everybody wants to wear clothes that are really flashy, even on their birthday. The dress the OP chose isn't that bad. Especially if her hair, makeup, and accessories are on point. She'll be on point. It's just not that flattering on the model.
