a child born out of wedlock= bastard ( hate the word)
If i have a child within wedlock and i divorce my husband my child is still not a bastard.

She is not a baby mama...

She is a baby mama. The other is a bastard mama.

Muy interesante.

I don't really see what that has to do with anything

so she she be called an ex-wife baby momma?

b/c without the ex-wife we are neglecting the fact that they were married

is ex-wife baby momma the best compromise?

We won't....Big smile

But lets be be clear what I refer to him as and what other do is different.....He would be my ex husband to me but to everyone else he would currently be the father of my children. aka my baby daddy....I feel like the only connection that would be acknowledged after a divorce is the children.....if no one knew I had children initially and asked I would say he is the father of such and such......the fact we were married wouldn't even matter....imho......

and this is what it boils down to. now the only time someone has ever used the terms BM/BD around me is to try to get a rise out of me or to be nosy as to my marital status or if my fiance is the father of my daughter or not. so maybe whoever this coworker is was trying to start some sh*t.

I would agree with her if she hasn't had kids BEFORE the marriage.

If you get married, have kids, and THEN things don't work out you're an ex wife/mother of his children.

If you get knocked up at any point before you get that ring and jump the broom, then you're a baby mama.

Nothing wrong with that. It is what it is. Women shouldn't let the term "baby mama"effect and offend them.
