I've been seeing my 2 year old cousin alot recently

She's speaking a lil more clearly now and now I know for sure her mother is saying horrible stuff about her hair in front of her

It saddens me. I don't know what do

She's 2 years old with locs already and when I tell her her hair is pretty she says "No. My mama says afoaghajglje (can't understand what she says after that lol) :(

I concur because if you do, the only part of the fashion industry you're about to be successful in is the 'hood.

naaaahh.....have you heard a rap song of late? it is about audemars, givenchy, margiela and wang. people in the HOOD aint checking for the hood.

At least you're trying.Ouch

Wearing my hair natural for almost 3 years, I started seeing how important it was to let little girls know how pretty their non relaxed hair is. I'll tell them I wish my hair was like theirs because of how cute it is, or how fluffy, etc so they know non straightened hair is beautiful too.

I agree Carolina. It is so important to tell lil girls' how pretty their hair is. This lady gave me a compliment on my hair and I told her that I was actually thinking to myself how pretty her daughter's hair is. The little girl seemed happy.

i saw that to be mostly true.  two of my kids were born almost bald though.

Ouch I had a big ass bald head for the longest. Are your babies bright like us?

yep, very.  i was bald until about 9 months old, but by the time i was 18 i was almost waist length.  my daughters hair at 6 months was so barely there that i had to use those ziplock bows because a normal bow just wouldn't stay.  she currently has a full head of curly bml hair.
