So, as I stated in another thread, I recently began watching this show.

I'm only up to season 2, but I have to admit that while I find the characters to be annoying most of the time, the subject matter and themes are pretty fawkin interesting LOL

So, I thought it'd be fun to come up with a "what would you do?" thread with the show's theme, which would ask questions related to the episodes.

Trust me, I've though this shat out, and if participation is hearty, this could def. be a 2014 memorable thread highlight reel LOL

I'm about to bounce from work, but once I get home, I will post the first episodes series of questions.  Feel free to answer all, none, or some, and if you have juicy stories to share for elaboration of your answers, FEEL FREE! Wink

Ok--so, here we go:

Episode 1/Season 1 - Sex And The City:  (Asked on page 1)

Could you, or do you already, have sex "like a man"?  Can you just find a man you're highly attracted to, get to know him enough to feel comfortable f*cking him, screw him, and then sneak out the next morning before he gets up?  Can you ignore his calls after that, and maybe only hook up with him again if you happen to run into each other at a bar one night in the future--but only for another drunken one-night-stand?  What do you think of this type of behavior?  Even if you, yourself, would not engage in it, do you look down at women who do?

Episode 2/Season 1 - Models and Mortals (Asked on page 3)

Could you ever date a guy or girl that you knew went for a type that's the opposite of yourself?  Like, if you knew a guy who only dated tall, White, leggy redheads, and you were Black, 5’3, 160lbs, with dark hair—could you ever feel comfortable knowing you were the “first of your type” to be with him?  What about dating a guy who has only ever dated models—if you knew, for sure, that he’s only ever been with runway models, porno vixens, fashion magazine types, would you feel comfortable dating/getting naked with him?

Episode 3/Season 1 – Bay of Married Pigs:  (Asked on page 5)

If you are single, do you feel uncomfortable around your married friends?  If you are married, do you feel uncomfortable around your single friends?  Do you envy or pity the friend (whether single or married)?  Do you trust your S/O around said friend, or do you feel comfortable being left alone with your friend’s S/O, if single?

Honestly, if I wasn't so afraid of catching something....especially the very "personal" nature of lesbian sex....I could definitely do it.

BTW, I love SATC and its one of very few shows I can watch over and over.

ETA: CLC, don't watch the movie until you've watched all seasons. Movie #1 was great- #2 Meh but bearable bcus I like the characters.

I just could not have meaningless sex, I think it's gross when guys do it and as well as girls. I try not to look down on people that do it, but I swear I've always thought that casual sex was gross

I've been hearing about this show for years, but just never thought I'd be able to get into it, because it seemed geared more towards women with "fashionista" type mindsets (and I am a tomboy through and through) LOL

The first season was kind of an eye-roller for me, character-wise, but the second season is a little more interesting.

I think the topics are AWESOME forum material tho, and loved the thought of making one single thread to ask all these ratchet, or thought-provoking questions, in one!

thats hard to answer..
like idk if id just always be content with just sex (lol yea right.. I'm just speaking as if my cooch was normal...) or if id start to develop feelings..

if it was strictly sex and i knew i just had no interest in him whatsoever otherwise… sure.. why not?
i could be like that with a few ppl

i don't think theres anything wrong with that type of behavior as long as its not a new guy every week… if you just have like 1 or 2 fck buddies… and both of y'all know what it is and are okay with it.. no big deal..

Right off the bat, I wanna just say "yes, yes I would do it--in a heartbeat", but that's bullshat.  I couldn't do it no matter how hard I tried.  I even had feelings for my lovers.

The thought of just having meaningless sex scares the sh*t out of me, because I feel like having some meaning to what I do with my partners is the only thing keeping me from being one of them man-bashing bitches talmbout "men are all dogs".

I definitely need to be able to tell if a relationship is built on "lust", but also want to believe that love exists, and I need to know that if I'm going to be getting down and dirty with anyone, that I'm at least giving love an opportunity to happen.
