i don't wear all of that stuff on my face (foundation and all that other brown stuff)

my skin is pretty clear

i don't judge people who wear all that stuff...if thats what they like/need fine

but don't judge me for NOT wanting to layer all that stuff on my face or for feeling it isn't necessary for me

i dont think most dudes even really care that much & arent being fooled. no one is that stupid and/ or blind to be that up close & personal with someone to  not be able to tell if some sh*t is caked on their  face or not.. some dues dont care & it seems for the men who do mind, they just dont kick it with chicks  who indulge in caking things on. my guy just got used to me wearing a lil make up these last two yrs after kicking it with for centuries.. he just says as long as "that stuff" doesnt mess up your skin its fine... I dont go to the extrme measures those 2 women mentioned in this thread do, but to each her own ( i personally think its a mess but, maybe im biased). I think if my skin was that effed up i would probably be pretty heavy handed with trying to cover it up too.

Maysay, I think most women have felt that with varying insecurities. I don't really subscribe to the line of thinking I have to hide things to avoid that feeling...I am far from perfect and I stopped giving that power to a man a long time ago.

It's not about giving power to a man or anyone else for that matter.

I felt the same humiliation when my 8 year old nephew asked me last week why I have spots all over my chest. Or when I go get a pedicure and the lady asks me why my feet are covered in stretch marks. Or when I was getting a kidney ultrasound and the tech asked me how many kids I had (just making conversation) and I had to say, I don't have any kids, I just have really bad stretch marks.

I'm not "giving my power" to those people. It's just that moment of awkward embarrassment where they see something is wrong with you and now we both have to acknowledge this ugly thing. It's uncomfortable.

But it's great that you don't feel you have to hide to avoid that feeling. I think if other people weren't so rude about it (staring, making horrible comments, making their disgust clear through their facial expressions/tone) then many wouldn't feel that they have to hide.

you are not alone, we are >>>HERE<<<
I know how you feel to the 1000th degree. I experience this everyday, which is why I loathe the spring/summer time, when I am forced to wear anything that exposes my arms and legs. Cry
And what's funny is it's always people with perfect skin always telling me what I need to do to get rid of those bumps, marks, rashes, etc...Confused It's not that easy, but they will never know that.
I suffered with skin problems since my early teens. I remember EVERY comment someone made about my skin. I know what its like not wanting to be intimate with someone with the lights on.

She actually looks better in the first pic, sans the hyperpigmentation
The natural look is better by default because she look like an overdone drag queen

i agree. She looks scary after rather than pretty. She should work on her skin and meanwhile stick to a natural look.
