The ytube girl has a right to pretty herself up all she wants and should, especially if she feels ridiculed. But she better not be that girl who doesn't wash her face before she goes to sleep with her man and wakes up early to double check herself before sneaking back into bed. My ex bf an current both asked to see my real hair and I obliged. That's the only thing about me they'd never seen. I had nothing to hide so it didn't matter. Some ppl hide from their reality a bit too much. |
I used to think doing the bold was kind of cray cray... But once you've gotten that look of supreme disappointment from a man when he sees the real you...I can totally understand doing everything possible to avoid that embarrassment and humiliation in the future.

When did I say it affected me? Most things discussed on this board don't affect me, I am just voicing my opinion of situations like that. Are u only allowed to have opinions on things that affect you?

Exactly!!!People are getting way to personal about a basic thread on BHM. We can have an OPINION because it was offered out for our OPINIONS. If someone disagrees with mine, I'm okay with that, so I don't understand why it can't be vice versa. BHM tears people to shreds everyday, and all of a sudden its an uproar because we said she had on alot of makeup.. MEH

That was rhe question i was gonna ask rumb......some of us on this here BHM will never ever let our close friends/family/spouse see our real hair. Wig weave scarf paper bag *shrugs* > There may or may not be underlying self esteem insecurity issues......and so? ETA Lawdammassi nobody not gettin personal and pattigurl aint hurt, oonu funny as heck Im glad patti mentiond waist cinchers cause back in the day BHM could not breathe for most of the day for the love oof all things squeem

@maysay, I understand that. Hell, I've felt the same way before but if you're not comfortable in your own skin around someone you're sleeping with then I don't feel that being in a relationship is a healthy option until u find someone who fits a certain maturity level.
