Listen to me, I don't go around looking to get in folks business- I've seen that go awry all too many times. On the other hand, I think every situation deserves to have its fair amount of discretion applied, and if you know that the information could possibly save a life, and you know with 100% certainty, then I say pray about it, and possibly proceed with caution. This is a touchy subject though, and I've never seen it end well... Its a hard call to make.

I told my cousin/best friend, about her boyfriend back in undergrad. When I walked up on him and the other woman he pulled me to the side in the union and said to me, " im diccin your cousin down, who the fucc do you really think she's going to believe?" It was like a soap opera. By the time I got to my cousin, he had already planted some jive about me wanting what she has.... Lord, I could've driven to my cousins college and beat the sh!t out of her, I just couldn't believe she had turned on me. We've been each other's rock since birth, I would never do anything to hurt her, but he was right, I wasn't diccin' her down and so... he won. She stayed with him for a few more years, until one day he was caught up by my cousin and his fiancée in the airport! A fiancée that we knew nothing about. Wheww, that was wild! She apologized to me years later, and I was so scarred after that, I just made a vow to myself to stay the sh!t out of grown folks business.

damn Qualified.  i got a story like that with a close family member and her husband.  dude made a preemptive strike on me and had my entire family thinking i was on some me sh*t.  family chose sides and i lost before i even opened my mouth good.  two month later im out, hell breaks out on the home front, dude accusing me putting roots on him and making threats on my life.  i aint never mess with those people again.

yep. I was told something by a not friend ( someone I knew/a classmate) years ago. I didn't have any real friends at the time.  To this day, that girl/woman can get anything she needs from me. Not saying that it made us become friends, she's still just an acquaintance --I haven't seen her in years. But her telling me something that no one else would, put me forever in her debt (IMO).

If they are my friend, they already know the score--hell yeah they better tell me.

Nope. Chicks before d!cks (bros before hoes if the friend giving the news is a guy). I'd say good lookin out. I'd judge if they ain't back me up while I confront his ass or help me move/move his sh!t out the house. One or the other is good.
