reminds me of a tv personality that i know. all over tv and married a man that was younger and 'trying' to get on track in his 30s and in trade school, driving her benz, enjoying her home, etc. (of course flirting with other chicks). i dont know if her even completed the course after they walked down the aisle b/c theyre in another state now and im not asking 'he got a job yet?' lol but it seems his job is to smile in public and lay low below the radar. yes, he is tall, lighter than a paper bag and good looking.

But for the sake of asking, what is he planning on going to school for?

Well she said he went to automotive school to be a mechanic But that didn't work out (I believe this was over 7 years ago) so now he says he wants to go to a "real" school (his exact words) to be a nurse.....I told her I think he's only framing his goals around what he thinks she wants to hear and to match her. My friend is an assistant principal and will probably have her own school next school year.

Hold it .. he wants to be a male nurse?

No offense but either he is gay or is a dog that will sleep around with al these female nurses. Either way, for a man to hold such a subservient position typically a woman's job ... says a lot about him.

Op, I repeat - move on.

Nurses make good money. If you ain't the CEO or on the board you in a subservient position or own your own business. SMH, negros thinking gender is important when it comes to saving lives.

What is scaring me is the defense she is already preparing for him, he is funny and he hurt his toe & couldn't work and he went to oil changing school and it didn't workout so she  seems already too far gone and just putting the feelers out to gauge what you guys are going to say about him.

Look I have no sympathy for sad stories, this is coming from a girl who took a job  teaching troubled youth how to operate Microsoft programs and I could barely copy & paste, I carried my lying in a interview azz into Best Buy and bought crash course on how to and made it work.

When I hear a story about some tired azz rusty dusty crusty grown lazy "man" with nothing but a sad song about what he would have could have should have done cause his toe hurt , the man kept him down, he tried and what he bout to doStern Smile I have zero. zilch nada not even a teeny tiny ounce of sympathy for him cause after all he is SUPPOSED to be a man right?

I won't be supporting or entertaining a 34 year old man while he does Intro To BiologyConfusedShockedDead.

Damn girl, you just.....Clap

Sounds like he is trying to convince her that he is serious "this time" about working on his life.
She needs to open her eyes.

Does this theory apply to male teachers, too? I swear some of the shyt you type can't be real. Lord, I bet you telling females they shouldn't aspire to doctors. Leave that to the men folks and become a nurse.

Ain't nothing wrong with a man who chooses to be a nurse.

Nothing wrong with being a male nurse if those are his true intentions, BUT it must be followed by some action.  I am registered for the spring semester and will be attending on M & W, and Sat. I am only taking two classes this semester but it is a start sounds like a real plan.

Him sitting on the couch saying out the blue I'm going to be a nurse and not ever even stepped into the school is foolery.
