Probably not.. knowing what I know now would be a big factor in deciding, and I know that relaxers, though the damage can be controlled, do still damage your hair--> that's how it works.. it breaks and reforms weaker haor bonds to make it straight. Right now, I want to go natural, because it's healthier; I don't see this decision changing any time soon.. however, if I feel that being natural isn't for me (which I doubt), then back to the relaxer or trying heat training, or trying a texlaxer it is..

I can't say never either. But I don't relax for a few reasons including the fact that my hair sometimes doesn't take relaxers and the fact that I actually dont wear my hair out to NEED relaxers. Sometimes I do feel that I'm limited in hair weaving options just cus my hair is mainly 4b.

Nooooo! I love how my hair like this. My hair had to be babied to retain length and broke easily when relaxed. Instead of trying to make my hair do something it can't, I'm going to stick with staying natural and use a flat iron if I ever want a straight look in the future.

earlier in the year i would have said yes quite easily. but i am so used to the flow of my natural hair i dont see myself relaxing and having to start all over regimen wise. i love wearing my hair straight but i love the option of wearing my fro too.

Actually, I thought about relaxing my hair, just this past week because I was really frusturated with my hair. I thought about it for a day or so. If I ended up relaxing it again, it would be for good. I do NOT plan on having to drastically cut my hair ever again. If I permed and decided I wanted to be natural, I would have to BC again because I didn't deal well with my transitioning the last time. My hair ended up breaking off at the front the last time which prompted me to do the BC. If I relaxed again, I would stretch quite a bit.. SO..... I decided to just stay natural. If I want straight hair, I will flat iron it, but I dont like heat on my hair. I think natural is the best for me at this point in my life. But I do love seeing relaxed hair that looks like like it is being cared for properly. For that matter, I love healthy hair, whether its natural or relaxed, period.

Not in this lifetime, not even a texturizer. I am 3years and 9 months natural and I finally learned how to care for my hair.
