There's gotta be one restaurant willing to step it up and take a chance on her.  Waitresses come and go so theyre not investing that much by hiring her.

I don't consider that a good job lol

Personally I rather strip than do that LOL

That's what she was applying for tho...She can work at a  hometown buffet or golden corrall and show off those mammaries to the old men.  She might get some decent tips.

Parents whose children spend time in foster care have to pay the state back...basically its child support. The state goes after any source of income they can. Of course there are rules around what they can and cannot take and how much. But basically, as long as you don't give up your parental rights they will go after the parents.

So her getting the extra money is not really the best way to go about it. Like someone said, having a trust set up for the kids or whatever would be better.

Oh I didn't know that.  Is this every state? So foster parents are kinda not paid by the state but by the parents in a sense?

A poster on here said the exact same thing, and nobody except really came for her. This was a while ago though.

Doubtful that anyone would expect you to be sympathetic.

Rather, I think what is 'asked,' is that there be some appreciation of her plight based on the facts as we currently know them.

Not a single one of us knows her journey; only that she came to a fork in her road and made a decision that placed her children in jeopardy. That decision doesn't absolve her of responsibility, but neither should it condemn her in a way that narrows future prospects for both her and the children.

Hers is a crime of poverty.

But again, opinions are like azzholes. Everyone has one and is welcomed to it.

Hers is a crime of poverty. And carelessness, let's not be too sensational. Her situation is effed up, but she left her 6 month old in a car. If she was white she would have gotten a slap on the wrist and empathy. But since she is the "wrong" color, she is ghetto and ratchet.

But again, opinions are like azzholes. Everyone has one and is welcomed to it.

I don't see how birth control is applicable here. We don't know her prior situation. She's not 18 with 2 unplanned pregnancies. She's 35 with a 2 year old and 6 month old. That right there more points to her using bc than not. She could've been married, these kids could've been planned. Her situation could have just become bad.
THIS. Referencing birth control because a woman is struggling with kids disgusts me.

I wish a b*tch would say that sh*t to me while I'm struggling.

The kids are already alive, for God's sake.

It has no place in this discussion. NONE. If you want to call her stupid, dumb, evil, crazy or whatever for leaving her kids in the car...that's fine.....but talking about birth control as if this woman was riding randoms at 35 years old and had two little accidents irresponsibly is not only ignorant but extremely insensitive. This woman could have been married with two planned children and just fell on hard times.

Pray it doesn't happen to you.

Another thing, don't get so comfy. All your child has to do is say "Mommy yells at me and hits me on the butt when I'm bad" to a nosy white teacher and CPS will be knocking on your door with a clipboard investigating yo ass for endangerment/abuse too.
