Would you go (regularly) to a natural hair salon?

THIS!!!!! They act like we can't two strand twist our own hair. I saw a woman charging 60.00 for a twist out. Please.

^ I do the same as you Natosha...go for a trim, weave or whenever my hair just doesn't feel right I will go and have my hair dresser do a deep conditioner and then I am able to manage my hair again on my own.

They are late just like most of the stylists that do relaxers, weaves, or trims.

They yack on the cell phone like every one else..

They usually over charge for their service - just like the rest of them..

Have their friends coming into the shop and hangin' out and talking over your head while you're getting your hair braided or twisted - oh - just like Shanequa down the street who does perms.

and no,  just like so many self-proclaimed "weavologists", "natural hair experts" "colorists" " "guru's", "stylists" "creamy crack dealers" "chemical witches" etc?  Many of them have absolutely no idea how to work with or grow/nurture 4b/c hair.

The last person who worked on my head?  Sight for sore eyes... had fantastic weave (and traction alopecia on the crown of her head) - but was asking me "How do you get OUR hair to grow like that?"  "What are you using to make your hair grow?"

She was a self proclaimed natural stylist..

I would if they were reasonably priced and knew how to do a large variety of styles. I can't style on my own, it never turns out right.
