The nature of Frank’s father’s lawsuit hasn’t been revealed, but according to Bossip
he hasn’t been in touch with his kid in over fifteen years. With that
in mind, we’re really curious as to what his reasoning behind suing
Frank could be.
While we don’t know much about the 25-year-old singer’s father, he
does discuss his father not being around in his song, “There Will Be
Tears”, which was featured on his 2011 mixtape.

If money is owed to me and we have signed a contract stating you will pay X amount by set timeframe and if it is not paid, even after I have given you a grace period to pay after set timeframe, then on legal grounds, I can and might sue you.
Fortunately I will not ever have to worry about it because first off, I do not loan money to other people, and some of this includes some people in my family. Secondly on the rare chance that I loan, it will be someone reeaallllyy close in my circle and I will not expect for it to be paid back because when I do for them, I do for them and keep it moving. My close friends/family would do it for me with no questions asked.
In F.O.'s case, if his father has not been in his life for 15 years, I do not see what grounds his dad actually has to sue. Sounds like he wants to benefit from his son's success when he wasn't making beats in the studio with him.. He is money hungry and he ain't sh*t.

My mom owes me 800 dollars. And she never paid me back. We signed a contract too but I think she threw it away. I'll let her slide THIS time, but next time I'm suing.

Under certain circumstances, yes. I watch a lot of tv court shows (Judge Judy, Judge Alex, Judge Mathis, etc.) and a lot of times parents sue their trifling kids to teach them responsiblity. I ain't mad at that.
