I don't think it's a matter of living in the past....I think IMO it's more an acknowledgement of your wrong doings. but...*shrugs* like it's been said. What nation apologizes for winning and settin' sh*t up to benefit them? |
but the whites today did not do it....if there are still some around, they are old as hail. I dont think a 38 yo white man, apologizing on behalf of his great grand daddy would make a difference. Thats just me though. I have a nonchalant/ idgaf attitude anyway.... I think ppl give way too many fux

Well Sang, if we're "different" then we shouldn't call ourselves "a community"
There's no reason for us to be grouped if we don't have a common goal, right?

america (white america) is not ready for a heart felt apology that will be followed by addressing all the social political and economical inequities that filtered down as a result
as far as the israeli support america gives, well, i dont think the us is ready for a black nation within its borders. it is also too dependent on the minority dollar to survive fundng a black 'nation' with an amount that consitutes a developing country's gdp

We were always different Sang but, that doesn't mean we can't come together and fight for what's right. Some blacks didn't agree with the bus boycott.

IA. and they'd use this apology to excuse any fuccery that goes on. "Well we said we were sorry! What else do you want!?" | They already do that with education and labor.
Like we finally taught yall niccas how to read OUR books and attend OUR schools and allow yall to work at OUR corporations...what else do yall want lol

We were essentially the same at that point in time. We're much more diverse now then we were 60 yrs ago. We have no common goal....back then we did.

IA with you Sang that we don't have a common goal like we did before. It maybe because some blacks are comfortable with how things are now.
