^^^^^I know......I guess I mean that anytime that slavery or that part of black history is even brought up.  They will alright say "Well we said we were sorry! ..." to give a reason why we should "move on".  Right now they can't say that.  They just say more along the lines of "We let u do this that and the third...what else do you want?"

I don't think it's a matter of living in the past....I think IMO it's more an acknowledgement of your wrong doings.

It's not about living "in the past" if the past effects the present

Nearly all of the conditions Black people face today has it's roots in Slavery, the Black codes, Jim Crow and institutional racism

All of those things that happened after slavery happened because America wasn't truly sorry
