I am really embarrassed to post this. I suffer from a really dark neck and bad acne scars and some chronic dry patches. I was wondering if I could get some help in terms of what I should do to get an even tone complexion free of dryness, blemishes, dark spots, scars, etc.
Any tips, product recommendations, etc. would be great. (FYI: I don't have this problem from the front. I actually have decent face-forward skin.)

In my opinion, you skin is not that bad.  Acne scarring is minimal and unevenness is easily treatable.  One question I have is have you been tested and ruled out for PCOS, hypothyroidism, diabetes, or any endocrine disorders?  If yes, then you will probably benefit from a chemical peel like lactic acid or glycolic acid.  I would start from the lowest strength and slowly work your way up or head over to a esthetician and she/he will hook your skin up.  Meanwhile drink plenty of water and fresh vegetables to get and maintain a healthy skin.  Hopefully more people will chime in.  Good luck.

WOW...I expected to see a really horrible pic, then when it is our own skin even minor flaws seem amplified. I can identify with that.
First off, when it comes to darkened neck my first question will be.. Are you by chance diabetic ? With that aside, have you used any product, or have sensitivity to jewelry (metals) that may have caused irritation and darkened the area. What have you used/tried to remedy the problem ??
