Unless you're trying to get pregnant, the rhythm method should be avoided at all costs. IMO it's not very accurate as there's more of a "range" of days when you're ovulating and you can be off by up to 3 days in each direction. Very risky. :(



It can be done relatively effectively, but I don't have time to make knowing my body a hobby.  You're also always on edge when your period is supposed to come. LOL  A lot of people use condoms and the calendar method together.

Yeah I noticed that on my period calendar. And if you're young your ass is fertile no matter what time of the month it is.

i don't think it would be reliable to tell women to rely on the rhythm technique.  
not every woman is as fertile as the next.

You can get pregnant on your period. It's not common, but sometimes you might ovulate 2x. Shocked

So, IMO, I'm with you, I don't want to take the risk. Condoms have been doing well for me so far lol.
