I can't take BC...it literally makes me crazy . I'm already someone who can get irritated easily by irritating situations...I don't need additional help in that department. We stick to condoms.

I know that feel. I have anxiety and the BC definitely rachets it up quite a bit. I get head aches etc. I take the lowest dose possible and still have issues. But I can't get off of it.

This... If
I was to get back on BC, I'd have to either do the pill or the patch.
From personal experiences, if mess goes south, I don't want to have to
schedule an appointment to get it removed or wait 3 months in the case
of the shot for it to work its way out of my system. When I was on the pill, it was low dose, but obviously not low enough.

Shaming is pretty ineffective. You just get teens f*cking dangerously. 97% of people have sex before marriage and around 70% have sex in their teens. The shaming ship has sailed.

yep but shaming was effective, that's why there were so many shotgun marriages I do wonder what the stats were for teen premarital sex back in the day like btw ages 13 and 18

I know teenage pregnancies are getting better now.
With my little sister I educate and inform and I sprinkle shame in for good measure.
It will def stay in my arsenal.

Yeah, people are waiting longer. If they are having sex, they're more likely to be on birth control than previously. No shame in my arsenal. Everyone has to do it their own way though.

Women should be allowed to get their tubes tied whenever they want as long as they are over 18. I don't think it's right to scold women about pregancy and don't allow them all the options.

I think in the 60s it was around 68 percent. I'm remembering off the top of my head though so don't quote me . People got married much earlier and more frequently though.
