Putting in all that work in your personal life and your "reward" is to be a step-dad? No offense, but deep down in my heart I'd feel like I failed in the game of life if that were to be the case. I know it's cold and I try not to judge but that's just how I feel.

I'm 24, childless and keep getting approached by divorced fathers. idk what it is. Ppl w/ kids should date each other bc they have much more in common *shrugs*

and I think they also don't want to deal with your potential baby
mama/daddy drama. It's ok to throw their problems on you, but you need
to come to them with a clean slate and a focused mind. I've definitely
heard a guy say that before and I definitely gave him the  face.
