I never met anyone jealous of a baby over a man , but i see it happens often . Why would the father allow her to continue hurting the baby ?

I would never trust her alone with the baby. He needs to look into drafting divorce papers or getting her into therapy.
One of my friends only has sons. Before she even had kids, she said that she couldn't handle having a daughter, cause she might end up jealous of the relationship between her SO and future daughter. I was like  |

bond set at $5000? bond should be set at a mental health facility
she needs to be evaluated right now ... whether this is just jealousy, deficit in her character or if she has post partum depression or another mental disease
whatever her issue is ... I wouldn't have allowed her to take that out on the baby, at all .. we would sever that tie with the quickness

and why in the HELL wouldn't the grandmother OR the husband call CPS, file a report OR at least keep her AWAY from the baby. what if she killed him? then we would hear, "she was chewing and beating him down"......smh. people need step up!
