I have an impacted wisdom tooth that's killing me right now.
I wanna get some pliers and pull this thing out myself.
What kinda over the counter drugs will help with the pain until I get to the dentist?

800 mg of Advil

warm water and salt, swish around the gums and make sure there isn't anything under the gums causing infection

eta: just go to urgent care and get antibiotics and pain killers until you get to the dentist

My pain has went away for now, which makes me want to postpone my upcoming wisdom tooth appt. But I know in time it will return so I might as well get rid of it now.

Go to your local ER and request for dilaudid.

Stern Smile

LOL

Seriously, maybe Ibuprofen. It depends on your pain tolerance level anyways.

I think most docs will tell you to take Advil/Motrin.
Usually you'll get a few days worth of Vicodin after you have them removed.

I'm cringing just thinking about wisdom teeth right now.
Getting mine removed was the worst medical experience I've had so far.
