My thought btw is this:
when I make a wig, I HATE it when the cap structure shows sometimes if you tilt the wig 'just so'. But if I cover the cap with a ton of hair to avoid that, the wig becomes HOOGE.
I figured, if I sewed hair that's the color of my natural hair on an open wefted cap, and if I am not wearing a wig cap, then there would be no cap base to see; only.. more hair in the same color as the track hair. That'd be less detectable, I think.
See I have (and wear) red hair, not black, so for wig making I am kind of at a disadvantage to most of you ladies - they don't make auburn Japanese swim caps or weaving caps
