I actually like the name Jacob Barack. Its different, but not overwhelming...
And there are differences between a "ghetto" name, a unique name and a name with an actual meaning

i dunno...ive always thought that its ghetto-ish to name your kids after whoever is popular at the time when youre preggers? maybe its something like that.
little campfire was in the hospital for a few days last month and there were at least 7 kids name Rhianna on the ward ...the nurses were all kindsa confused at one point....btw I like Jacob, but not in combo with Barrack...

Why would someone name their child after a president?
Why not come up with something unique or meaningful?

This is funny.

Um, i would not name my child Rihanna . I could bear to name it Aaliyah, Mariah, Keyshia, and even Cassie for freak's sake, but not Rihanna. I just don't like that name.

Lol omg you guys, I said I can't remember the combos used and just threw out a random name.
Girl, you know naming your child after Barack is not the same as using the name of a pop singer! Lol baby rihanna. If Obama holds no significance to a person then I can see why they think like that though. I think a lot of ppl have name their kids after historic black figures but since the name wasn't ethnic people didn't mind. Maybe ppl think Barack is trying too hard?
