This article made me cringe. Her attempt to rationalize bullsh*t to fuel her own unrelated agenda is beyond *&%^$#@Eed up. A man's brutal public murder by law enforcement should not be used as a segway to women's issues and to compare injustices is an injustice of its own. that site is questionable anyway due to their insidious attempts to create dissension between Black Men and Black Women.

I also think that some black women play right into the misogynistic attitudes of the era as well. That thread where some people are arguing that it was ok for this baller to knock this woman unconscious because she "provoked him" is a case in point. Some women try too hard to be down and they do themselves a disservice.

what truth is she saying Jolie?

While I get her frustration, this is not the solution.   It is disrespectful to use his death as a platform.

This is like when folks were posting those tommy soo-whatva videos from YouTube on here. Ppl acted as if he was the voices of the masses. Negative statement seem to be rewarded with attention. Which in turns becomes a debate over who has it worse all the while nothing changes.

I'm thinking of the women that have been assaulted and killed in recent years. Who is marching for them? Who is clamouring for their rights? The Renisha McBride trial is underway. Where is the uproar? Where are the passionate discussions? The threads? She's right in saying that a lot of black men won't necessarily return the favor when it's time to be active. Misogyny is a huge issue.

I do understand her but she needs to find her own platform.
Don't make this man's death your soapbox to stand on.
