Why do poor black women keep having babies?

The people I know with kids has no racial bias.

I think goal setting deters having babies tbh.
I don't see how a child would fit into my life right now.
That's more than a decade up the road.

I know of exceptions there too though.
One girl from my class has two babies in med school.

Because it's a cycle and they don't know any better. Chances are that their moms were young and unmarried when they had them and their siblings too so this is normal to them and they see nothing wrong with it. They also probably don't care much about being successful. What pisses me off is when they think they can behave the same way as before they had the child and neglect them by bringing random guys who just wanna hit around them and stuff. People need to accept that you have to make sacrifices for a child and if you're not willing to give up your youth yet, then you shouldn't be having them for the child's sake.

I've heard a few times that teen pregnancy rates in the US are down but still behind other countries.  We are way behind on education too so I'm sure there is some correlation.
