Suga or Milanni EXACTLY what powder and developer do you use? I've tried the Kalidocolors(sp?) in both blue and purple, and the BW powder with 20 developer by either Salon Care or Wella. I'm too afraid to try 30 or 40.

If you test a small area at the back of the closure you can get your time PERFECT.  FEAR should not deter you from your weave goals.  You may need RID dye remover for your knots.  Also, bleaching with 20 developer may not work on CV knots.  No 2 closures are the same.

Test a SMALL area only......... minimizes damage potential.... I have faith in you...Thumbs Up
Also 20 developer only works 20 minutes.  It may require doing it twice.  Also a little heat may accelerate the process.

Hey babes I use 40 developer and kalaiedecolors or the pre-packed bleach and developer from sallys. I think it's called ozone or something like that. You will need color corrector or you will end up with orange scalp.

I have some Ardell packets left over from my kinky curly closure mess. Which kalaiedecolors do you use? I know there's purple, blue, and some other one...

The purple one. FYI I purchased a few units lately that would not lift even after an hour and half. So don't be bummed.

What does it mean when your knots don't lift at all?  I have a lace front from Platinum wigs that will not lift.  Ive tried twice with bw powder and 40 developer (not in the same day).  Does this mean that the hair is synthetic?  The color is a #2 I believe...

I think some CV's use fabric dye (or other non-hair dyes).  This is usually why knots wont lift.  The Rit Dye remover can be used. Always test an area before doing the entire closure.
