That's what Sandy is talking about too.

I'm not gonna widen the scope when it comes to money on this board bc y'all usually just mean bags here.
We will keep it superficial.

Money validates someone but having true companionship doesn't?

Yeah...ok coco
Clap you did that...

maybe that's why I feel so strongly (and comprehend this logic) about relationship trumps money, because I'm not lacking in either & I have that in my man. I gravitate towards the emotions of love because I've known my partner just about all my life and our connection goes deeper than the metaphysical ideas of love or just acquiring "things". He is the traditional standard of what a man represents which is, security, protection, comfort both financially as well as physically.

i dont understand how y'all aren't getting it.. youre talking about yourselves.. I'm talking about the original point of this convo.. and how the sole acquirement of a man to some.. is validating.

if i had to choose between the love of my life/soul mate.. and money..? id pick him.

but this was never about finding, 'the one'
its about 'i have a man, youre home alone.. you lose' when lots of ppl with men on here.. are not happy..
again.. I'm not saying money = happiness but its something to be proud of.

Coco I think when Sandy throws out the no man insult it's understood that she means a good one.

I really think Sandy says it bc she thinks she has a good thing going.

I think you're referring to Sandy bc I see it said by her mostly

I was with coco. Till the money part.
Having money doesn't mean a thing if you're miserable.
Having a man means nothing if you and him stay in some mess.

Winning is being happy period.
It's hard to fake happy. I know a miserable bit*ch when I see one and even through her font on here, who cares what they say.

farra just said it too.

i think sandy does say it most but others do too..

and while she may feel like hers is a good man.. it really seems like many on here feel validated solely by having a man…
I'm not the only one thats said it either i remember hairdo and others said it too…
if you have a boyfriend… on bhm.. youre winning at life.

I don't understand why we having this argument
when not believing one has a man is used as an argument here
as well as people using a man and kids to prove they are happy is used as an argument
we use all types of sheit on bhm to argue
how you gone invalidate one and not the other
I have met some miserable ass millionaires and I have met broke couples who are some of the happiest people you will ever meet
because everyone does not have the same goals in life
This is really something that can't be argued
