Who are your favorite characters from film, television, literature, video games, etc that are depicted as or portrayed by black people? (phew that was a long sentence) Mine are:  Christopher Turk, Scrubs  Tia Dalma, Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and 3  Isis, Bring it On  TJ Henderson, Smart Guy  Will Smith, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

Claire Huxtable is a good one. I also like Sondra's husband, he was annoying but fun to laugh at.   Uhura, Star Trek  Olivia Pope, Scandal
I've been meaning to watch Misfits, but I saw a clip of this guy talking about the triple and was grossed out.
