Yes i agree with you.It really depends on the ingredients of the soap you are using. Choose a soap that has a high content of moisturizer.

Moisturizing face wash is really nice but don't be fooled.  Companies now put liquid soap as facewash.

I would never use regular soap on my face I find from people around me who do are left with marks and spots and I've never tried african black soa. I'll stick to water and the occasional face scrub.

I use both. I like my face to feel squeaky clean. And, no, it doesn't dry out my skin. My skin is naturally oily so I'm ok.

Normal soap that you use on your body should not be used on your face.

If it is a face Soap or Soap purchased just for the face, it should be fine, however it's how your skin reacts to it.

But bathing soap should never be used on the face, as bar soap harbor and transmit germs/diseases.

Regular bar soap will dry you skin out very fast.

I recommend googling organic face items for the face. Or use Etsy for organic homemade items that you can purchase or maybe even make yourself.

I agree with most of the comments about using facewash over reg soap.

I use Neutrogena "visibly even" facewash sometimes 2x a day, followed by a light moisturizer (usually Aveeno Daily Moisture and water). Works well and keeps my eczema in check.

as i think face wash is the better choice. if you want to use soap then "Dove" soap is the better choice. it makes your skin smooth and glowing Tongue

Whichever has a pH level at 5.5 or somewhere near it.  Anyways it depends on skin type.

oh my goodness! soap is SO harsh on your skin, it's a no go!
a lot of people don't know this, but soap is way too harsh for your skin. you have to use a mild product to prevent from getting dry and irritated!
I came across this animation from my favorite skincare brand...
