Hello! A long time ago I would have said sew in, but once I learn how
to do a u shape wig, there was no turning back. I can take it off easily
and care for my hair underneath it properly. Mine looks like a sew in
anyway. Honestly, I used hair that is like $25 a pack and it still looks
new after 2 months lol. I care for mine like this: I wash with garnier
triple moisture shampoo/conditioner in ONE direction. Place it on a foam
head and apply a nickle size of garnier soothing milk and let it air
dry which takes a day and a half (I wear it long and straight). I then
flat iron it and place it back in the weave bag for about a week or
longer, whenever I plan to wear it again. Good as new. How do you guys care for yours?

I want to try a U-part wig too? Do you guys sleep with these wigs on? is there any tension on rubbing? can you make the part very slim with just a very little leave out?

yea i get you.. but i guess the U part wig has its limits... u have to have a leave out.. its only right that u leave ur edges out sooo it can participate in the wig lookn more natural ... but with sew ins i guess u have a choice weithr to leave out hair or not .. wea do u get the swim caps from..or the caps that are supposed to b used in this project

I got my mesh swim cap like the one *TheIslandBeauty* used from misjaghuar. I think she has some more. It's from Japan and is much better than the one of got from the bss.

if we do it on a swim cap...we can use a sewing machine? I never thought to use a sewing machine to sew a wig. I can't wait to try it

I hand sew, using a styrofoam head and I pin the tracks on the styrofoam head to make it easier.
