I'm just starting out on my journey and I still have questions. For 1 what do u do to ur hair when u get home.
Right now I'm trying protective styles like twists or a twistout. For the most part I will wait til I'm going to bed to retwist any hair that need it then put on my bonnet. Should I be putting my hair up and away as soon as I get home? What do you do? TIA

I always put my hair up in a scarf no matter what I have on my hair.......sometimes I do slack off.
Usually I had kinky twists in but I decided to give my hair a months break & I have been doing flat twists, twists, & braids on my own hair & then I put my scarf on since I always end up laying down in bed?

I do not put my hair up until I go to bed.

I usually take my wig off as soon as I walk in the house from my garage.. and then I chill with my ceily braids all exposed..(unless I am expecting visitors).. Before bed I baggy and put on my satin scarf or bonnet. I don't think thats necessary until bed. Tongue

Not much. I don't touch it until it is bed time, if it is not a wash day. Right before I go to sleep, I put it in a fresh bun and put my scarf over it.

I don't do anything to my hair until I get ready to take a shower at night. That's when I co-wash. After my shower, I let my hair air dry in twists until it's time for bed. Then I re-moisturize and put on my satin bonnet.

I perosnally dont do anything to my hair until its time for me to go to sleep. Right before I lay down I moisturize and seal then I wrap it, sweet dreams after that. Another thing I do every other night I will do a scalp massage (Im not sure as to how long I do it for)

the first thing I do is put it up in a bun if it's not already in one. for some reason, I feel like my hair is more "in the way" when I'm at home verses when I'm out & about.

I don't do much to it until bedtime when I moisturise and seal and put it in a bun then my stocking cap.
If I'm in cornrows then I might redo a few to keep them fresh then put my stocking cap over my head before I go to bed.
