Topic: When was the last time you were afraid Posted: Jan 06 2014 at 2:24pm |
For your life?
I was walking to my front door when I noticed two boys running towards me. My heart started beating like hell and I balled my hands into a fist with the keys sticking through my knuckles cause I was ready to fight. I wasn't bout to open the door cause they were NOT gonna bum rush me in my damn home. They slowed down and eyed me and kept it moving. Idk why I was so spooked like that but damn I was scared as hell. I mean they were really running towards me, it still creeps me out as I play it over I'm my head.
When was the last time you were afraid for your life?

When I was cleaning out my car and a crack head lady was talking to herself and walking down the street. I tried not to make eye contact, she crossed over to my side of the street and I got in my car and locked the door and turned it on like I was gonna run her over if she tried to threaten me lol. I saw this same crack head another time and went inside of my gate and locked it.

A few years ago, when I was sitting in the house and all of a sudden I heard a big bang and the house shook...Then screams... Went outside and some jack*** had ran a red light and hit a taxi driver at the intersection, then lost control and swung out and smashed the entire left side of my brand new 2-months off the dealership vehicle that was parked parallel in the street (NJ). To boot. I had to pay a $500 deductible that I NEVER GOT BACK, because the insurance companies of both vehicles kept pointing the blame finger. Progressive SUCKED as well.

During the last month in the hospital . I thought my life was over , but God said it was not my time . I also was so afraid for my mother inlaw . Her home burn down 2 weeks ago , but thank God the kids got her out just in time . Live your life to the fullest , no matter how old you are .

After the Sandy storm, my condominium complex lost its electricity. I heard there were looters trying to break into people's apartments One afternoon, I was coming back from work early. I had to take the stairways from the parking garage up to my apartment, which was on the 5th floor. The stairways were pitch black and I didn't have much battery life left in my cellphone. I had used the flashlight app to help guide me up the stairs. I was almost to the third floor and then my phone shut off. I was so scared that I took off running up the stairs and surprisingly I didn't miss a step. I got to my floor and ran down the hall with my house keys in my right hand. Once I got inside, I didn't realize that I had squeezed my keys so tight that it had cut me in the middle of my palm.
