I notice people having horrible spelling and grammar on online forums/blogs/etc., but it really bothers me when they carry this over to school and work. It is ridiculous seeing grown people (who are not old or who did not learn English as a first language) spelling this way. I'm in college, and the professors are always reminding people to have their work done correctly and that they will take off points for mistakes. At first, I thought the professor was just being mean and over-authoritative....until we had to peer review each other's papers. My Goodness!

It does not bother me and people being pissed off by this is extreme. If it is to bad and I cannot understand it, then I just click away, because sometimes it is like trying to read some of the old slave narratives. I do wonder if the younger generation will have a huge problem with spelling, because of all the slang and errors that you see on forums, social networks etc. That is my only concerned for those still in school who have not mastered spelling yet, it can be confusing. Then again, children this age should not be on the internet so much anyway. But I can even see this being a problem for college students when it is time to write papers, especially if you read a lot on the internet....I do not agree that is it the future nor do I think it is cool (kewl) to write like that. Well the internet is not grammar class, but do not let it spill over into real life and start using these types of spellings on job applications or in school.

What is there to try? The point is you used it as a substitute for Ms. Why did you use Mz instead of just using something else?
Because u wanted to.... and thats the reason why other ppl type that way because they want to.
