NG i didnt want to scare y'all. That seems like a delicacy to me- they reside only at high altitudes, that means someone has to go far to fetch them, there's a five month open season, the frog is endemic to Dominica etc etc

sancoche- its saltfish made in a coconut milk gravy. somtime people add callaloo to it. 
titiwi-is a type of fish. it very very very very very very small idk how else to describe it.  and they fry it into fritters.

PrincessS you part Dominican or is the boo thang? Sanoche = run down (coconut milk reduction) of sorts then? I remember the fig from a thread where a male poster bunz i think, was calling green plantains/small ripe bananas fig and nycdiva was like no niqqua. Is twitwi sprat? maybe i'ts what we call tiki tiki
