From the dominican newsonline's article about the contest for the official national dish.- It presented the choices of callaloo, sancoche*, broth, fig and saltfish and titiwi*.

*= What are these? the callaloo prepared is a liquid?

NG i didnt want to scare y'all. That seems like a delicacy to me- they reside only at high altitudes, that means someone has to go far to fetch them, there's a five month open season, the frog is endemic to Dominica etc etc
