I use the Elasta QP mango butter once a week. I've used it more often with great results but then I learned it has light protein, so I decreased usage just in case. I use the ORS Olive Oil more often since it's moisture based. I pretty much described the loc method in my original post too ^^; sometimes I still switch it up to water/creme/oil though. My hair likes both ways.

ive been using shea butter, grapeseed oil, and coconut oil religiously for a month. my hair is very coily (4b/c) and keeps my hair from breaking. But everybodys hair is different in one way or another so experiment and keep note what works for your hair

Thanks again. :) I'll let you ladies know what worked for me. I know it's going to take a while. I've tried SM curl enhancing smoothie and it did nothing. Dead Maybe it was just my hair texture.

Lately, my go to has been a spritz of water and aloe vera gel, followed by a sealant made of shea butter, jojoba oil, castor oil and olive oil (basically the oils I had on hand). It's been working beautifully. Not sure if this will be helpful as op stated early that she doesn't like to mix ingredients, but this is not particularly labour intensive

I didn't like it either. I'm not a big SM fan. I've tried everything by them -_- the things that did work out for me had a loud and annoying scent (yellow line) so it soon became useless. A lot like them though so maybe another one would work out for you

i just purchased giovanni direct leave in and my hair likes it. Also a mixture of aloe vera/ glyercin/ grape seed oil has been EXCELLENT for my hair. I wear wigs daily and i spray it on my hair before I out the wig on and when I take it off. My hair stays soft and moisturized.

Chicoro leave in mix
8 oz of aloe vera juice
2 tbsps of oil ( I use grape seed)
1 tbsp of vegetable glycerin (can be bought a walmart, says skin protectant glycerin but it fine to use for hair too)

I should have been doing this for years! I LOVE it!

Most mixes I make, don't come out right. I'll try some of the mixes you gave me since you did give me the measurements. LOL Thanks.
