I did her garlic, rosemary chicken and pound cake and it was bomb.com

Ok so, West Indians I have a question. I just made some veggie curry for some roti and the curry was good but it wasn't "Like my mama" good.

My west Indians will be able to appreciate my red peas soup I made for dinner last night..*yummmy.

It had carrots, potatoes, corn, red beans offcouse, chicken and dumplins. (salt, pepper, scallions,  very little onions, 1 scotch bonnet and thyme)

I had guests over so I made some fried chicken wings...NO fancy presentation, just grab and go. lol


eta: I got the idea to put the wing behind the leg so it wont open from youtube. I never thought to do that before.

I love her recipes and I can't wait to start using them adding my own touches and making them my own.

Any ideas for salmon. I always just cook it the most basic way ever which is season that thing and pop it the oven. I'm looking for something different to do it it.

Never add tomatoes to a Caribbean curry. Where i'm from, that's the 'i don't know how to make a lickin' bunjal curry' way.

Also, the curry powder you use is important. They are not all made equal.

Thirdly, the key to a lickin' curry is marinating the meat overnight well saturated with curry powder.

That's all i can give for free.
