I found some green tomatoes at the grocery store and made fried green tomatoes.

Also made a Kentucky Hot Brown...aint no way to photograph this to make it look as good as it tastes....but trust...it is good. It is bread dipped in egg/milk mix, topped with sliced turkey, topped with a cheese sauce (heavy whipping cream, parmesan, shredded cheese, salt, pepper) then baked for 15 minutes, topped with tomato and bacon.  I used green tomato instead of traditional red.

Thank you! And yep those were sweet plantains.

It's a sweet-salty combo, but the flavors blend so beautifully you don't even taste the distinction...

I want to try that sooooo bad . Where does this dish originate? did you just make it up ,gg? Lol...won't stop me. I love complex flavours and that is something I need to try.

Lolol...it's not made up. It's a Puerto Rican dish...it's actually REALLY simple and easy to make, you should definitely try it!
