Mashed cauliflower made in a chicken broth with salt and pepper light drizzle of OO or lil butter.

EmbarrassedDinner  for Date nightEmbarrassed

Braised Beef Short Ribs over Sauteed Spinach and Creamy Polenta

ingredients:
2 to 2 ½ pounds Short Ribs (Bone-in)
Salt & Pepper
Veg oil
12 cloves garlic roughly chopped
2 medium yellow onions roughly chopped
1 red bell pepper sliced into 1/2 inch thick strips
1 bay leaf
1 rosemary sprig
1/2 bottle red wine
4 cups beef broth
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar


1. Season beef generously with salt and pepper and sear in 1T of Veg Oil. Then place
in slow cooker.

2. Turn heat down and add garlic,onion,red bell pepper and cook til onions are tender.
Add  Bay leaf,rosemary,wine,beef broth, and 1/2T of black pepper. Bring to a boil
lower heat and cook 20 mins or until mixture is reduced by 1/3.


3. Pour sauce over beef in slow cooker add Balsamic Vinegar and cook on slow until
meat is tender and falls off bone.



Polenta

1C polenta
2C chicken broth
2T Butter
1/2 White Cheddar or Parmesan
1/4 cup Cream
1T A soft cheese of ur choice (Optional)


Bring chicken broth to a boil
Add Polenta and reduce heat
Once thicken add Butter,cheese and cream.


Spinach

1 Bundle Fresh Spinach
1/2 shallot
1 clove garlic
1T Olive Oil
1t butter
Dash salt and pepper

Add Butter and OO to hot pan saute scallions and garlic 1-2mins add spinach season

with salt and pepper once tooth tender.


Dinners Served
