We have an upfront policy about stuff like that. I think it's from having chatty family and friends. We know that everything sounds much better coming from us than a third party.

Ex: I went to the movies with a male friend because the movie was lame and his other friends would have felt emasculated. My brother-in-law saw me with him and immediately his mind went to "cheating." Luckily, I'd already informed my husband and he was okay with it. Everyone else thought I was a ho for a bit.

The same thing happened when I was walking around the neighborhood with a male cousin. Different relative, same story.
As far as the condom thing, my husband is smarter than that. He'll just use cash if he's doing something inappropriate. I'd still side-eye it if on a receipt if he didn't mention it to me though. I'm just like that.
