I'm the exact same way. 2-3 wks & I'm done! I'm wearing braids for now & have been since Halloween, not the same ones of course.  I'll  be changing the style again in about a week or so.

I want to get box braids (NO MORE SEW-INS)! But I dyed my hair a honey blonde a week before Thanksgiving. I plan to dye my hair a temporary jet black for the braids because I miss black hair lol; but I need to know, how long do box braids last? I haven't had braids since I was like... 5 so idk how long they last vs sew-ins.

Happy holidays!

Hey Miss Leaaa, I usually keep my box braids in 3 wks tops, but that's because I get bored quick!  But depending on how well you keep them up, they could last twice as long.  Just keep them moisturized & tied down at night. HTHSmile

partial weaves/ + juicing my hair + cantu/ coconut oil + NEVER go outside without a hat.

or when the ice and snow arrives, the above, but with a full wig. I don't want one baby hair to see frost. They snap off if I even look at snow through the window. My hair just catches fright and jumps off my head

Hair dry in bun or braids with a hat over at all times. Get blizzards where I live and have had my hair freeze b4. Not happening this winter!

What does juicing your hair mean?

I ghe most of the time when at home with hair in ONE bantu knot on top of my head.

Similar to this video but I just use ONE knot since my hair is fine.
