It's time to put our ends away for the winter. So that we can all get some ideas for options, please let us know what you're planning to do this winter.

For me, my hair stays under a plastic cap when I go out so, I'll be wearing beanies and wigs this winter. What about you?

I am wearing a upart wig with a closure. Bored of the one I have at the moment which is a short wavy/curly style. Will be making an exaggerated asymmetrical bob this week with some new qhp straight hair. I may buy some deep curly and make another wig if I can convince myself to spend some more funds.

I wash once a week and apply castor oil and glycerine. May replace the glycerine with honey moisturiser which is supposed to be 10 times more humecant (sp?).

My hair is in my own twists right now, with a wig cap wrapped round the ends for protection. Yes I'm cheap but I'm busy so not much time for much else. LOL

Week before Christmas going to use one of my mother's curly wig over the rest of December through to January as it's not really cold where I am right now. Plus she says the wig looks better on me and I'm in need of some curls. Wink

Hey Njoy HeartHeartHeartHeartHeartHeart

For now I will stick with my buns until I am 6 weeks post.. then I will be wigging until I get my TU @12 weeks.

I plan on alternating between buns and wigs all winter.

Hey y'all. Right now I'm in long box braids. After that I think I will do crochets for about a month and then wigs. I really am going to try to stay hidden until spring. I have like 2 more inches until BSL!

Girl, i all of my "Oprah 2" wigs lined up and ready to rotate out for the winter.

Our winters here in NM, are quite harsh at times.. Not as bad as Alaska, Minnesota or Utah.. but it sure as heck isn't bikini weather... Not by a long shot.  We've just received our second snowfall.. and ski season is in.

thus, at night?  i'll baggy.  and during the day?  definitely wigs.

I'm going back to bunning. I'm starting off with stretched buns. I'll prolly rock some lightly damp ones too. I'll stretch Cleo via plaits and banding and then bun.

in a wig-- we should start a challenge on protecting styles under wigs.... this is my first time really payign attention to my hair under a wig (used to wear weaves) and a challenge/buddies might be nice!
