My mom actually said to me recently that she doesn't see me being with anyone longterm...that I'm too solitary. And that she's glad I have my sisters so she knows I won't actually be alone when she dies.

Mom: highly educated, works in corporate, no kids, black, and preferably christian. But we live in Seattle so thats not going to happen. 

Dad: As long as they're a good man who works hard and treats me right, just don't bring home a woman.

My great aunt tried to set me up with some distant cousin when I was like 15 at a wedding.
He was 23.

He added me on FB but the dumb shht he would post was a real turn off so he got hidden lol.

I think me and my sibs know each others "type" moreso than our parents.  I know personality wise they wouldnt see any of us with someone who takes themselves to seriously.
