yes. you sure can!
the kind we have has to be connected to some type of sound output. It doesn't have a speaker or anything.

*Ahem*

Would you mind expounding on your thoughts of the quality of sound?

Is it richer? Does it fill the room?

Got damn it I might get lured into this hobby myselfShift+R improves the quality of this image. Shift+A improves the quality of all images on this page.

What kind of record player do you have?

Sorry about the 21 questions but I'm lowkey excited...lol

I always shrugged vinyl off as a hipster thing.
You being colored lends an authenticity to this movementGeek

lol

im very very green to this too seducky

the quality of the sound imho is better than digital, its clearer and crispier than any other format ive listen too. lossless included.

it most certainly fills out the room, but that depends on your speakers amp the record player (tonearm and cartridge) and your acoustics .. but it def packs more punch

you can make your music surround by connecting it to an amp or an av receiver, so if you have a home cinema/theater system you can link your turn table to that via a preAmp if you need one

at the moment im using a friends turntable i havent bought my own as yet

lol i was telling Jr the same thing the other day that i didnt know that there was such a science to this, i too thought it was such a hipster thing. i dont even know where the inspiration came from, but i think imma enjoy this.

Interesting Afro...Makes sense that vinyl would give you a better sound. Check this out

analog/vinyl catches the entire sound wave where digital/cd/mp3 is more of a snapshot (analog records waves as they are, digital converts them).

I'd only want to listen to music with real instruments on vinyl.
