The first time I rode down Penn Ave and saw those officers with the big ass guns on in the intersections I was like. Confused

but post emergency... the same options like elections are not avail to us.
so its not about that.

leaders and people at the top of their field have been prioritized in who the heck gets saved in case "its all going down" 

there are list out there.. 
which specifically entail which politicians get saved, doctors, accountants, artist, philosophers etc 

are amongst those who get to start all over again...
b/c they are deemed as whats needed in a post apocalyptic world.

If somehow DC gets blown to kingdom come, everything's headed to Denver. That's lowkey the 3rd most important city in the states

If given a choice, I think the American public would save New York City over DC. No one likes DC and the politicians that live there.
