I ask because its a woman at work who is very well dressed. Always well dressed, very polised. A couple of our temps who are fresh out of high school, called her basic.  So how is it she's basic because she is well dressed? I think what sparked it was she was carrying some designer bag

IMO...a BB is a female who is insecure, jealous and hates on other females who have something. Instead of stepping her game up or learning something, a BB will try to tear another woman down (or try to take her man) to feel worth something. Also a BB is a chick who has nothing to lose. She has no moral compass or believes in nothing higher than herself. I try to stay FAR away from those people!!
