A lady who repeatedly makes stupid decisions when it comes to men, specifically. That's when I 1st started hearing the term along with bottom bitch. Chicks with low self esteem? Bad decision making skills? Ratchet?

5 stars because I almost made this thread a few days ago. Was wondering the same thing. It sounds like something that used to be a compliment (calling yourself basic as opposed to high maintenance) but I guess not anymore, and not in this context LOL

welp, according to the dictionary basic can mean - not having all the hydroxyl groups (like an alcohol) or of lowest rank. thus, a basic bitch (here referring to a woman) usually means a female who doesn't have it all (as in common sense) or who is deemed inferior in any manner. Again, usually, this refers to common sense
BHM example: Rihanna, Kakachoo, and all the women on reality tv are basic bitches.
