Love her or hate her, Kim Kardashian is undoubtedly one of the biggest international mega stars in the world, today. Her claim to fame was er….well, unconventional to say the least but there are many lessons that can be learned from the outrageous reality star ( honest). Here’s a few things I picked up from the life of our favorite Kardashian.
How to survive a scandal:
We may not all have sex tapes with famous rappers, but most of us have past events that can come back to haunt us and they may cause others to judge us or gossip behind our backs . Kim survived her sex tape scandal by moving forward and ignoring the negative comments of others. It’s important to realize that your life is not over just because you feel embarrassed or ridiculed. Keep your head held high and focus on where you want to go in life. Ambition will take you farther than wallowing in self pity.Learn from your mistakes and turn them into a positive, Kim turned her scandal into a multi million dollar empire and became a fashion mogul.
Keep friends close but family closest:
Friends may come and go but nothing beats family. Kim keeps tight bonds with her family , the Kardashian- Jenner clan. Studies show that people who had fewer friends but strong family ties were healthier and happier than “popular” people who had little interaction with their relatives. Connecting with loved ones fosters positive self esteem and boosts self confidence.
Think Outside the box:
There’s more than one way to skin a cat. Some people achieve fame through music or acting but Kim became a famous A lister simply by being herself. Whatever your goal in life, remember that in order to be a true success its essential to find your own path and don’t be afraid of the fact that it’s never been done before. You never know where life may take you and always be ready for the next great opportunity.
Embrace your curves:
In a world of size 0′s and skeletal physiques, Kim proved that the sultry, feminine curves of a woman will always be in. Hollywood may promote that thin is the ultimate ideal however, vuloptous women are vixenish and sexy ( Just ask Sophia Loren!) Do your body a favor and love the skin you live in.
