Girl I am with you! Anyone know of anything good?
Those dark circles are serious!
Have people asking you if you've slept in weeks....
Any info would be appreciated!

I've used one called vita-k. I think it worked ok.
I went to a
med-spa place and she said depending on the reason you have dark
circles, there may be no hope except fillers. Of course she was trying
to sell them lol.. but she explained it because she said the skin may be
very thin down there and so it is just showing what is underneath,
blood vessels and all that. The fillers help plump up the skin under
there
ALSO, some people have deeper set eyes and it could be a shadow
Cucumbers and cucumber juice are supposed to be helpful, I tried it but not consistently enough

@ Lite brite, thanks for your input and info. Of course she was trying to promote fillers, LOL....
Vita-k? never heard of it, cann I pick it up at the drugstore?
For me cucumber juice, or the cucumbers themselves, help with puffiness, not the dark circles... they are still there sometimes and I don't like weaing pounds of makeup...I heard that raw caffeine stimulates circulation... and ginseng does that also....maybe I could make a ginseng mask....has anyone used ginseng on their face? ( Random question I know)

Here is the vita k stuff http://www.amazon.com/Vita-K-Solution-Professional-Dark-Circles/dp/B0014R2YRA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1331769367&sr=8-1 they also have a smaller bottle as well for cheaper on amazon. As you can see the reviews are mixed. Maybe I'll try it again, my main thing I want to get rid of is discoloration (red) on the outer corners of my eyes. I have a hard time trying to figure out if they're scars or if its coming from underneath. They used to be dark brown and I'm not sure if the short time I used mederma changed their color or if its because I lost all of my tanned color this winter and so they show as red now instead of brown but in the mean time, I'm in love with my "covergirl & olay simply ageless concealer" It works great for me with just one coat (and no foundation). I like it a lot better than the Mac and Lancome ones i tried

Yeah I see the reviews are mixed, but it's worth a shot right, I mean the bottle is pretty cheap...But I also found another product that is supposed to work better....

Hmmm....red instead of brown? Does it look like your eyes are swollen sometimes? I have that problem sometimes as well. IS that your complexion in the foundation you put up? Because I used concealer once and it made me look chalky, a makeup artist said that I would still need foundation.....GEEZ

Ok thanks I'll have to look into the one you posted. And no mine never really get puffy (although I would think they should! I eat an incredible amount of salt and sleep like 3-4 hours a night lol).. And nope that's not the color of the concealer I used, I'm actually more pale than that.
I had walked by them at Target yesterday to see if they had some to match dark skin ( I wasn't sure what color your skin is but I was thinking about this thread), and I didn't see too many dark ones... but they might have more at Wal-Mart and stuff. That sucks about having to wear foundation with it if your not a foundation kind of girl . You can check in the makeup section of this forum to see which concealers ladies are using that come in dark enough colors not to have to wear with foundation though

I use the Black opal without any foundation and I love it! I have a dark skinned woman and I use mahogany Black Opal. I bought Black Opal at my local Beauty supply store for less than 5 bucks! I hope this helps. Take care.
